Yesterday, I visited the site where Mitch Lucker crashed on 12th and Main in Huntington Beach, California. There were candles still lit, photos, letters, shirts, flowers, and a whole bunch of other miscellaneous items family, friends, and fans left. I left a card and some flowers for the family to pick up later on. Mitch’s dad came a few minutes after I got there. He showed me photos of Mitch from when he was younger. He spoke of how great a person his son was.
It was a completely heartbreaking experience.
